Issue 6 Summer 2011
Welcome! In this issue, read about the University's triumph in winning The Queen's Award for Enterprise. Plus it’s your chance to hear about internships, placements and opportunities for further study.
We also have an insight into the life of Mark Diggle, alumnus and Head of the Careers and Employment Service at the University. He has wise words for job-hunters in these uncertain times.
We also have great events coming up – the Bedfordshire Grand Summer Ball and the Dip Geog Reunion. It’ll be a busy summer!
Plus, we would love to hear from you. This is your e-zine and we want to know where you are, what you’re doing and how you’ve progressed since leaving the University. Get in touch by visiting the contact us page.
Finally, I’d like to thank the alumni volunteers who attended the recent University Open Days in Bedford and Luton.
